hi! i'm nadiya, a 19 year old sophomore at kansas state university! i'm double majoring in biology and secondary education with the dream of becoming a high school biology teacher. i've been writing for as long as i can remember, but i hated poetry until i was 16 years old. after i began to see the beauty and art in this form of writing, i haven't stopped creating it since. poetry has become a way for me to express myself and explain myself when i can't find the words to do it through speaking. 

i'm a member of the university orchestra where i play violin. i love to read, although i haven't been reading as much recently. i love all forms of art and nature and spend as much time as i can immersed in it. 

i love finding new outfits and styles to try out, i'm obsessed with converse, coffee, and snowglobes, and i love to travel. and my favorite scent is vanilla (literally vanilla everything).
